I am looking at the Asus Eee PC Netbook with intel atom processor. Would you recommend this computer? Is it really portable and most importantly does it run fast or does it crash and freeze a lot. Do you need to set it up with something to get internet or can you just turn it up and work. Also what would you recommend a HP Mini 110, or this Asus Eee?

The asus I’m looking at has a 10.1 inch screen, 1.66ghz atom cpu, intel graphics card wireless n, bluetooth, 1.3mp webcam, and 10.5 hour battery life. The HP has an 11.1 inch HD screen, nvidia graphics card, no bluetooth or wireless n, and a 6 hour battery life. The asus is dollars cheaper. Which is better for me?

Im looking for a netbook/laptop to use for fun and light activities: music, web browsing, email, etc.
I’ve narrowed my search to an Acer 1410 or a HP 311?
Which should I go with?

-Acer 1410
-Pros: Core 2 solo processor, 2 gb ddr2 ram, only 9
-Cons: Integrated Intel X4500M HD GPU

-Hp 311
-Pros: ION Platform, dedicated 9400M GPU
-Cons: Single core Atom CPU, 1 gb ddr2 ram, over 9

Right now, I’m thinking the Acer 1410 because this is just for light uses until I get a laptop.
Thanks

I’m thinking of buying a netbook, but know nothing about them. I’m looking into the Asus Eee PC Netbook with Intel Atom Processor. It seems to have good reviews and is a better price than the HP Mini Netbook. Just wondering the pros and cons of buying/owning the Asus Eee PC Netbook. Or which is better, the Asus or the HP?
