The guy at best buy told me that, so I just wanted to see if there was another option for me.

I am planning on buying the HP netbook, the one featured on the verizon wireless network. I have a few questions that are important to me… Can you hook a wireless mouse to the netbook? Can you hook up an HP photosmart to the computer? How do you install antivirus or protection to the computer without a CD ROM? Can you have a 250GB portable hard drive hooked up for more storage and stuff? Like my Toshiba laptop now, do they have the wireless thing where you connect to a network nearby? Do you have to have a memory card for it? Like the ones you put in a camera? And also I have a myspace and I download pictures from my phone to my computer through email would I be able to do that. My MAIN QUESTION IS: do you have to have internet connection through a cell phone company in order to get the netbook? I have a verizon phone but I don’t want there internet and I am getting the netbook from best buy… So do you have to get it activated or is it like a laptop where you turn it on and go? Is microsoft works like microsoft word 2007 because I need that for my reports and such? What are the 4GB USB drives for? I am sorta worried about alot of things because I don’t want to waste money for this thing and regret it… Please I really ned to know these answers with the best of your description and give me some advice on how I should go along with thiscorrectlyy. I really only want the webcam/microphone, email, myspace, microsoft word, and be ble to download pictures and such. Please and thanks bunches for your answers. Also Windows Vista home premium is itsimilarr to XP? Because I only know how to work windows and its way easier?

I want to purchase a netbook in the near future. I have an old laptop that I hardly ever use because it is so big and slow. I want something that is easly portable, and that I can use for web browsing and for work. I do a lot of work in word documents, updating and editing, and would like to be able to do this more at home and when im on the go. I want it to be fast and easy to use. Also, I DONT want to spend a lot of money, but I’d like it to be pretty fast and I’d even like to be able to run Photoshop every once in a while if needed. I have done quite a bit of reserach and below is what I have it narrowed down to…can anyone suggest what would be best?

I want to buy the HP - Mini Netbook with Intel® Atom™ Processor N270 but there is just one drawback: the Hard Drive. The computer only has a 16 GB HD, and that is kind of a problem. Microsoft Office 2007 takes up about 1.5 GB (correct me if I’m wrong) so now I’m down to 14.5 GB on my HD.

I went to Best Buy and the attendant lady said that they sold a version with more HD (I think she said either 60, 116, or 160 GB, I can’t remember which). The lady also said that it would only go up about in price, which means it’s still only about 0. They didn’t have that version in the store, though, so she said I had to check the internet.

I went on their website but I couldn’t find one with that much HD. I’m not that good at looking for things on websites like that so…could I have some help? Is there really such a thing? Thank you so much!
