the battery won’t die after a couple years. Because the Dell laptop I have right now, the battery went completely to hell and it has to be plugged in at all times now. So I’m looking for a small netbook that has a good battery that won’t die!

I am considering an new net book style computer (Sony TT) and it does not have a CD ROM. So would the recovery "disks" be on a USB Drive?

I want a light VERY light laptop that can do all my homework on.
